Runway Gen 48…kind of

Gen 48 was... well, it wasn’t — because we missed the entry deadline. 😅 All seven of us did, actually. We decided that shouldn’t stop us from making something great. So we made this film to capture what it feels like to keep sailing — even when you miss the starting whistle. The “new wave” in our story reflects AI’s movement through the film industry, and sailing, represents filmmaking itself. 🎬 In the end, our main character reminds us to listen to your heart not for the race, but for the passion.

Julia Harris worked as Art Director, Generator, and Editor to turn herself into an evil ai time-dilating robot.

We made this in ~two hours. The process: Krea trains the style, Hedra generates the character talking using a generated vo, and Luma/Sora to generate broll.
